The video presented to you today is about a short trip we made taking advantage of the fact that one of our previous models, Carla, had to go to Granada and we decided to do an unplanned shoot in this beautiful Spanish city with another of our models, Lili.
So, we rented a flat and we headed to Granada in an 8h trip.
By doing a quick shoot of only 3 days, with the first and last day being all travel, we only had one day to do the whole shoot. Contrary to what we always do, this time we took a minimum of equipment and we went by car and not by van. The reason was the difficulty to find parking in the city of Granada, which has very restricted traffic in the centre, and the large size of the van could be a serious problem.
In order not to do the 8 hours in a row, we dedicated the first day to the trip, and stopped for lunch along the way. Although it was all boring motorway, the road was enjoyable because of the constant conversations and jokes. In the afternoon/evening, we arrived at the flat, had dinner and went to sleep without having been able to explore the area.
As we hadn’t planned anything, in the morning of the day of the shoot we had to look for locations where we could take the photos. We took some minimal photography equipment, some props, and went for a walk. Since the city is very beautiful, it wasn’t difficult to find several places where we could take some photographs in an urban environment. As we found suitable locations, we stopped and took the photos. Preparations, removing necklaces and earrings, choosing outfits and we were ready to go.
Laughter and a good working atmosphere, as always, enlivened the day and before we knew it, we were already having to look for a place to eat.
In the afternoon, we decided to go to some nearby mountains in Sierra Nevada to do something different in a natural environment. The scenery was beautiful, and at the top of a mountain pass we found a viewpoint where we could take some photos at sunset.
But as everything could not be perfect, at the last minute the weather became worse and it got quite cloudy, leaving us with no chance to see the sun setting on the horizon, so we took advantage of the fact that we had a convertible car and we also took some pictures in it, and we were able to enjoy it a little bit. Fortunately, in July the days are very long and we had time to take a lot of pictures.
After the photos, we went back to the flat, had dinner, and went to bed.
On the third day, we got up and were able to take some quick photos in the flat with Lili while Carla was taking a shower, before setting off on the 7-hour drive back home.
