As we told you in last week’s blog post, the first of the beaches of northern Spain, during the month of August we went to look for locations making a trip a little longer than usual.
This video is the second post of the coastal area of Cantabria and Asturias. You can see the first one here.

We also told you that we spent a week travelling around different areas in the north of Spain, both on the coast and in the mountains, looking for beautiful locations to be able to shoot in different natural environments in the following months. In this video you can see some of the jewels of our geography that left us so amazed.

Paradisiacal beaches absolutely deserted without any sign of man’s presence, without buildings or rubbish, tremendously clean. A landscape with difficult access, changing according to the rhythm of the tides, which allowed us to record and photograph some of the most beautiful places we had ever seen.

During the only two days of the trip when the weather was good in the coastal area, we spent some time touring some of its beaches, and the second day, which is the one we show you in this post, we were as impressed as the first one. Seeing places like this is neither tiring nor boring, it simply leaves you always wanting more, wanting to prepare everything to be able to do the sessions again and of course, when work allows me, to go on holiday.

As on the previous day, it was necessary to enter these beaches at low tide, giving that when the tide is high they become less accessible. The sea rises up to 2 metres at high tide. As on the previous day, the sea was exceptionally calm. After a long stretch of walking along a mountain path, we arrived at a huge beach, where there was no one for hours and where the feeling of peace was constant. Once again it seemed as if we were in another world, but this time, a fairytale, science fiction world.

As impressive or even more so than the beaches of the previous day, these had no comparison at all. Completely different both in shape and colour of the water, always transparent like few others, and very calm. The pointed formations look like something out of a film.
The further we went along the beach, the more surprising everything became. You really don’t know where to point the camera because absolutely everything is incredibly aesthetic. Every time you take a photo, you stop taking the 1000 others you have seen and as you take them one by one, you are aware that you are not going to be able to take them all, but you end up not caring because in each photo or video, you become so immersed in what you are doing and where you are doing it, that the feeling of enjoyment is at its maximum. Absolute euphoria. I love that feeling.

By playing with photo editing, you can achieve interesting photos, similar to those in science fiction films. You don’t need to use 3D to create an epic environment.

As the tide was rising, as on the beaches the day before, the landscape was constantly changing. And again I went crazy taking photos and recording videos. You can see it here.

At evening, the sun sets right in front of the sea, and the spectacle is even more impressive. No matter the time, no matter the state of the tide or the sea. These beaches are incredible.

Finally, these beaches are also perfectly oriented with respect to the course of the sun, which will allow us to take great photos in the sessions we are planning to do there in the coming months.

We hope you enjoy the images.
