As we told you in the previous post, we were with Auri last week , searching for locations in the lake area of Banyoles to be able to do the session with Oli this week.
So when the time came, Oli and I went to the area to do the planned session.

It rarely happens, but this time we were lucky both times and both the first day and the second, it was sunny most of the time and we could take advantage of the good light to take pictures, at least the first and last hours of the day.

In the morning, we went to the rapeseed field that we had found the week before and there we were able to take the pictures that had not been taken with Auri.

Without any complications we managed to take all the photos that had been planned and we went to eat at the same place where we had eaten the previous week.

After lunch, we went to Banyoles to do the second part of the session at the pier.

We met again with the ducklings as soon as we arrived, and they visited us constantly during the session, which is always a good thing.

And as always when I work with Oli, we took photos, photos, photos, photos and more photos, as with her it is extremely easy to move forward and be productive. Besides, as she always looks great whatever she does, the photos came out very cool both in casual and sporty outfits.

During the breaks, Oli spent some time “playing” with the Dji Pocket, a mechanically stabilised handheld video camera that we had recently released and which we used to record quick shots. This camera has a tracking mode that detects people and objects, and we tested it to see if it could detect Oli even if he was hiding.

The only small problem we had during the whole day, apart from the cold, was that we couldn’t take advantage of the sunset because the sky clouded over at the last moment and the sun couldn’t be seen. On the other hand, I hadn’t calculated well the first one, the silhouette of the model was either on the water or on the mountain in front of us, but never on the sky, which is where the photo would have been cleaner.

After the session, pick up and go home.
