With spring already here, we planned a session in a beech forest, with the intention of taking advantage of the intense green of the trees in this season. We had already gone there, looking for locations with Auri, and the results had been very satisfactory. This time we would go with Olivia and Auri so we could also take pictures of both models in a spring forest environment that would transmit happiness.

So far, so good.

But the weather, which has its own plans and the bad habit of not warning us beforehand, covered our scenery with gray. Although at the beginning it was only a little cloudy, the fog came stealthily and persistently, and ended up being so intense at times, that we could barely see 2 trees behind the model. There was no more intense green, no more spring, and everything that was written for the session was no longer useful.

The joy of spring had been replaced by the mystery of a melancholic forest of faded greens, but for that wonderful coquetry of nature that tends to make up everything, it kept its beauty intact. It was a very different landscape, but for those of us who love nature, it was inspiring.

We decided to take a break for lunch, hoping that when we returned, the fog would have lifted and we would be able to continue with everything we had planned. However, when we returned to the stage where we were to take the photos, it was clear that the session we had planned was already history.

However, the new scenery was still as beautiful as the one we expected to find, although as it conveyed the opposite, we had to improvise to adapt to the circumstances and save the session, with the illusion of enjoying an environment as unexpected as fascinating and the unbeatable company of our team.

The whimsical and unpredictable behavior of the weather has forced us to be very foresighted and as every time we went out, we took enough clothes and props to face different situations. That environment of sad and smeared aspect, turned out to be a perfect background to take pictures of trekking and accidents in the mountains, and as we only had mountain clothes for one of the models, Auri dedicated herself to her usual work as a producer.

We got to work, while the background was changing appearance photo after photo. You could see the mist running through the trees, appearing and disappearing as if it were magic, inviting you to put the camera aside for a few moments and enjoy admiring the scenery. In situations like this, you don’t have the feeling of working, and even less when you are among the laughter of all the members of the team, with whom we share the desire to enjoy our work.
